Hinweis: Beschädigungen des Gerätes, die auf-
grund von Fehlbedienungen entstehen, fallen
nicht unter die Gewährleistungsansprüche.
Hinweis: Dieses Gerät ist entsprechend der
europäischen Richtlinie 2002/96/EG über Elektro-
und Elektronik-Altgeräte (waste electrical and
electronic equipment – WEEE) gekennzeichnet.
Nach Ablauf der Lebensdauer ist das Gerät als
Elektronikschrott zu entsorgen.
Hierzu erfragen Sie bitte die für Sie zuständige
Sammelstelle bei KARL STORZ GmbH & Co. KG,
einer KARL STORZ Niederlassung oder Ihrem
Fachhändler. Im Geltungsbereich der Richtlinie
ist KARL STORZ GmbH & Co. KG für die ord-
nungsgemäße Entsorgung des Gerätes verant-
wortlich.
Machen Sie sich vor der ersten Anwendung
des Gerätes am Patienten unbedingt mit der
Funktionsweise und Bedienung des Gerätes
vertraut.
Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Der DUOMAT ® ist eine Saug-/Spülpumpe zur
Absaugung und Spülung bei endoskopischen
Eingriffen. Die Applikation erfolgt entweder über
spezielle Saug-/Spülinstrumente oder in
Verbindung mit Fiberskopen.
Die Verwendung des Gerätes anders als oben
bestimmt ist aus Sicherheitsgründen nicht zu-
lässig.
Vorsicht: Der DUOMAT ® darf nur mit
Schlauchsets und Zubehörteilen be-
trieben werden, die von KARL STORZ
für das Gerät als geeignet bezeichnet
werden.
Eigenmächtige Umbauten oder Veränderungen
des Gerätes sind aus Sicherheitsgründen unter-
sagt.

At the end of its useful operating life, dispose of
the unit as electronic scrap.

a KARL STORZ subsidiary or your specialist
dealer for information on your local collection
point. Within the scope of application of this
Directive, KARL STORZ GmbH & Co. KG is
responsible for the proper disposal of this unit.
Before using the unit on the patient it is imperative
that you be acquainted with how the unit operates
and is controlled.

Intended use

The DUOMAT ® is a suction/irrigation pump for
suction and irrigation in endoscopic interventions.
It is applied either via special suction/irrigation
instruments or in conjunction with fiberscopes.
Use of the unit in fields other than those indicated
above is not allowed for safety reasons.
Caution: The DUOMAT ® may only
be operated with tubing sets and
accessories which have been
designated as suitable for the unit
by KARL STORZ.
Unauthorized conversions or modifications to the
unit are not allowed for safety reasons.

como derechos de garantía.
Nota: Este equipo está identificado conforme a

de concluida su vida útil, deseche el equipo
como chatarra electrónica.

Empleo previsto

La DUOMAT ® es una bomba de succión/ irriga-
ción para realizar estas funciones durante inter-
venciones endoscópicas. Su aplicación se lleva
a cabo a través de instrumentos especiales para
succión/irrigación o en conexión con fibroscopios.
Por razones de seguridad, no es admisible la
utilización del equipo en otros campos de apli-
cación diferentes de los previstos.
Advertencia: La DUOMAT ® sólo puede
ser utilizada con los sets de tubos
flexibles y las piezas accesorias que
hayan sido identificadas como idóneas
para este equipo por KARL STORZ.
Por razones de seguridad, está prohibido efec-
tuar reformas o cambios arbitrarios en los equi-
pos.
