Symptom
You cannot
change the
options in
PageScope
Light.
Language
choices
appear
wrong in
PageScope
Light.
Your print job
is not aligned
properly on a
custom-size
page.
Media is
wrinkled.
Solving Other Problems
Cause
The administrator has
set a password in
PageScope Light or at
the printer's control
panel.
The Katakana
characters required
for the last language
choice are not
available in your
system fonts.
You are using an old
version of NetScape
or Internet Explorer.
Custom media size
doesn't match the
size identified in the
printer.
The media is moist
from humidity or
having water spilled
on the paper supply.
The transfer roller or
fuser unit may be
defective.
Unsupported media is
being used.
Solution
Either obtain the password from your
system administrator or use printer
driver and application print dialog boxes
to set your preferences.
The default font needs to be set for MS
Gothic.
Make sure you are using Netscape 6.0
or later or Internet Explorer 5.0 or
newer.
Check that the Input Tray is set to
Custom at the control panel and that
the exact dimensions are entered in the
control panel menu, PageScope Light,
or the printer driver.
Remove the moist media and replace it
with new, dry media.
Check them for damage. If necessary,
contact Technical Support with the
error information. Refer to the
Service & Support Guide or
www.konicaminolta.net/printer/ for
support telephone numbers.
Use KONICA MINOLTA-approved
media. Refer to chapter 2 for details.

for currently approved media.
