    Pump should be stored in its original shipping container and on initial start up, rotate impeller by hand to assure seal and impeller rotate freely. ELECTRICAL POWER TO THE PUMP MOTOR MUST BE DISCONNECTED AND LOCKED OUT TO PREVENT ANY DANGEROUS ELECTRICAL HAZARDS OR PERSONNEL DANGER BEFORE ANY SERVICE WORK IS DONE TO THE PUMP. CAUTION! OPERATING PUMP BUILDS UP HEAT AND PRESSURE; ALLOW TIME FOR PUMP TO COOL TO ROOM TEMPERATURE BEFORE HANDLING OR SERVICING.
  • Page 9 D-3) Impeller: After removing the bottom plate (26), as outlined in Paragraph D-2, the impeller (23), may be removed by removing set screw (25), and lockwasher (24), and turning impeller counterclockwise to remove from shaft. When reassembling the impeller (23), turn the impeller clockwise until it touches built-in wear plate, then back it off 3/4 of a turn for proper clearance.
