Setup Software
Setup Software is for the client computer to perform the client computer connection settings with this unit and remote cameras, upgrade of the unit
firmware, and backing up the settings data. The settings can be configured while confirming each item in a list.
z The settings for connecting the unit with the remote cameras can also be configured using just the unit. For how to configure the settings on the unit,
z
refer to "Settings for connecting with the remote cameras" (page 29).
Notes
When using Setup Software to configure the settings from a personal computer, observe the following.
z Do not perform any operation on the unit.
z
z Do not start Setup Software on any other computer in the same network.
z
z Do not use "Easy IP Setup Software".
z
z Ensure that no IP addresses are the same.

Installing the software
This section describes how to install Setup Software.
You can obtain the software from the Service and Support page of the following website.

Download the Setup Software zip file from the Service and Support page of the website.
2.
Double‑click the downloaded zip file to decompress the file.
3.
Double‑click [RP60PCTool_*.exe] in the [Setup Software] folder to start the Setup Software.

Configuring the settings of the personal computer
Configure the following settings of the personal computer before connecting it to the unit.
IP address
: Set an IP address that is not a duplicate of the IP address set on the unit or any IP address set on the devices (remote

: Set the same subnet mask as that set on the unit.
Default gateway
: Set the same default gateway as that set on the unit.
You can view the IP address, subnet mask and default gateway set in the unit with [SYSTEM] > [RP IP SET].
