least once per year. After the dynamic braking test, a static functional test must be performed. Instruc-

Connecting tubing to the clamping unit
When operated in normal ambient air (without particles):
1. Remove covers (if present) from the supply ports.
2. Remove dirt particles and foreign matter from the ports and tubing lines.
3. Use short tubing lines where possible. This will reduce switching times.
4. Connect the tubing to the supply ports of the clamping unit 2 and to the supply ports of the cylin-
der 1 in accordance with DIN EN ISO 4414.
