The bad weather light reduces re ections in rainy
conditions by dimming individual areas of the
headlamps. The driver and other road users are
blinded less as a result.

City lighting improves the illumination of roadsides
in urban areas using a broad distribution of light.
The function is active in the following cases:

Based on map data, the lighting system responds
pre-emptively to di erent road heights. This
means that the headlamp range remains virtually
constant when you are driving on uphill or down-
hill gradients.
