- 3 - FUNCTIONS AND SETTINGS
3.1 Operation
Connect the supplied main cable to the main jack first and then to a socket (230V~/50Hz). The pan head
and all control motors go to a defined starting position. The display (1) meanwhile indicates
unit is ready for operation and can be operated via a DMX controller or independently displays its show pro-
gramme in succession. To switch off, disconnect the main plug from the socket. For a more convenient op-
eration it is recommend to connect the unit to a socket which can be switched on and off via a light switch.
Note: the light source is a discharge lamp. If, for a short time only, the unit is switched off or disconnected
from the power supply, the lamp will not immediately light up again. To be able to ignite again, it must cool
down for some time.
3.2 Basic adjustments
Via a menu the following basic adjustment scan be made. Press the button MENU (2) so many times until
the desired function is shown in the display (1). Then press the button ENTER (4). Never wait for more than
8 seconds to press the next button, otherwise the adjusting procedure will be stopped.
Blackout mode on or off
Select with the button DOWN or UP:
To memorize, press the button ENTER.
Pan direction normal or opposite: for operation with at least two units, the rotary arm of one unit may rotate in
one direction while the rotary arm of the second unit rotates precisely in the opposite direction.
Select with the button DOWN or UP:
To memorize, press the button ENTER.
Tilt direction normal or opposite: for operation with at least two units, the pan head of one unit may move in
one direction while the pan head of the second unit precisely moves in the opposite direction.
Select with the button DOWN or UP:
To memorize, press the button ENTER.
Display on or off:
Select with the button DOWN or UP:
To memorize, press the button ENTER. Eight seconds after pressing the last button the adjusting menu is automatically exited.

The light beam is not extinguished. This adjustment must be
selected when operat ing without DMX controller.
The light beam is extinguished when no DMX control signal is
present at the jack DMX INPUT (11) [DMX controller switched
off or not connected]. As soon as correspond ing DMX signals
are present, the light beam will be released.
