• Make sure the power of GY-
DV300 is off when inserting/
removing a LAN card. Inserting/
removing a card with the unit
power on may damage the data
storage section of the LAN card
itself.
• Do not remove the power cable
with the power of the GY-DV300
on. Recorded section on the LAN
Card itself may be damaged as a
result.
• Do not use the wireless LAN card
continuously for more than 48
hours.

• Check to make sure the ACCESS

SETUP screen will not appear on
menu screen of the LCD screen
or the viewfinder of GY-DV300.

Setting up the proxy server

1.
From Internet Explorer, click on the 'Tools' in the menu bar,
and then click on 'Internet Options'.
2.
From the window that opens, click on the 'Connections' tab.
3.
From the 'Connections' window, click on the 'LAN Settings'
button.
4.
If 'Use a proxy server' is checked in the window that opens,
then you use a proxy server to access the Internet.
• If this is not checked, then you don't use a proxy server, and
your configuration is complete.
5.
Click on the 'Advanced' button.
6.
In the 'Exceptions' box of the window that opens, enter the
first portion of the KA-DV350's IP address followed by.'*.*' For
ex-ample, the IP address of a KA-DV350 may be
192.168.100.101, so 192.168.*.* has been entered
7.
Click 'OK' in all open windows.

• When using peer-to-peer communication that directly connects the PC
and KA-DV350, deselect the "Use a proxy server" checkbox.
• When the "Use a proxy server" setting must be enabled due to a LAN
environment (in-company LAN, etc.) click "Advanced..." and input the IP
address of GY-DV300 in "Exceptions" of the "Use a proxy server"
setting.
