DNS

The Domain Name System (DNS) is a distributed hierarchical naming system for
devices connecting to any network. DNS provides domain names to address partici-
pants in the same network.
 Host Configuration
– Host Settings
Manual or Automatic.
– Host Name
Displays the hostname of the device.
 Register BMC
BMC can be registered via direct dynamic DNS or DHCP client FQDN.
 IPv4 Domain Name Server Configuration
– DNS Server Settings
Options for IPv4 DNS settings for the device.
IPv6 Domain Name Server Configuration

– DNS Server Settings
Options for IPv6 DNS settings for the device.
