for pages. To find pages, use the Search lists, or narrow the list

Sometimes when I select Edit > Copy All to Ink Files, some pages
do not show up in the pre-assigned ink file. What could be
causing this?
The method or sequence of how you copy pages might be causing
inconsistent results, especially if you are copying pages to multiple
ink files.
For best results, copy new pages by selecting Edit > Copy All to
Ink Files before using any other method. This action copies all
unfiled pages (indicated by white thumbnails) to their pre-assigned
ink files. Then, to file a page in another ink file, go back to the
Current Notepad, and drag it to the other ink file in the navigation
panel.
If, on the other hand, you first drag the page to an ink file other
than the pre-assigned ink file, the thumbnail changes to green,
indicating it has been filed. Now if you then select Edit > Copy
All to Ink Files, it will not be copied because the action affects
only unfiled pages. To add the page to the intended ink file, you
will have to drag the page to the pre-assigned ink file. Once you
start copying by dragging thumbnails, you might as well continue
dragging thumbnails for that session to ensure the pages are filed
correctly.
