1. Use the Launch section to specify whether to launch the
default application automatically or to prompt you for
notification.
• Select the Launch the default application option if you want
the application to launch automatically.
• Select the Ask me before launching option if you want to be
prompted before launching the application.
2. Clear the Add to Archive checkbox if you do NOT want the
notes created with the new type to be added to the archive (for
example, a confidential form). For most purposes, it is
recommended that you add all ink types to the archive.
To edit a file type:
1. To change a file type, such as adding or removing application
or changing the default application, select Edit in the Ink
Types dialog box. The Edit Ink Types dialog box opens.
2. Change the necessary information, and select OK.
To remove a file type:
1. In the Ink Types window, select the file type you want to
remove, and select Remove. Warning: DO NOT remove
"Incrementally Uploaded Ink Stream." If you do so, your
handwritten ink no longer transfers correctly to Ink Manager
Pro.
2. Select Yes when prompted to confirm the deletion, and select
OK.
3. When you finish, select OK. Select Close in the Ink Types
dialog box.
