Ink Annotation Mode—An option on the toolbar enabled by
selecting the Ink Annotation button on the toolbar (which
disables Ink Selection Mode). When enabled, Ink Annotation
Mode turns the mouse pointer into a drawing tool, and you can
add ink or draw directly on the open page on the screen. Or use
the stylus tip or other blunt-ended object (not the pen tip). Click
the Ink Selection Mode button to disable Ink Annotation Mode.

Ink Calendar Support—The utility program that lets you link
your handwritten notes to your personal calendar. You can enable
the program by selecting the Ink Calendar Support icon * in the
system tray (lower right corner of the screen).
Ink Clipboard Viewer—The editing window in which ink
appears when you apply the Copy action. Use the ink clipboard to
change the appearance of selected words, change the ink color or
width, cut or paste ink, highlight ink, save ink in another format,
or create a Post-it note on your Windows desktop.
Ink Column—The column on an Action or Search list that
shows the original selected writing as it appears on the page of
notes.
Ink file—A file containing your handwritten notes and sketches.
Ink files include not only transferred ink, but also other
information including ink appearance (color and thickness),
Keywords, To Do items, Messages, and the time and date that you
created each page of notes.
Ink Selection Mode—An option on the toolbar enabled by
clicking the Ink Selection Mode button * (which disables Ink
Annotation Mode). When enabled, use the mouse for typical
operations of selecting or highlighting ink. See Ink Annotation
Mode.
Ink Viewer—The utility that lets you view your ink in its
unedited form. When you use Ink Calendar Support, the links
open the handwritten notes in Ink Viewer. To edit or reformat
your notes, you must open the ink in Ink Manager Pro.
Inking Mode—The typical state of the digital pen on the digital
notepad. In Inking Mode, the digital pen writes in ink on the
