HOW TO CHANGE SETTING OF READOUT
CALENDAR AND CLOCK
To turn on and off the calendar and clock display or change
their setting, follow the procedures below.
(1) Press A and X - Y of the H O R I Z O N T A L MODE s w i t c h e s
(shaded s w i t c h e s in the figure) simultaneously. (For
functions of the H O R I Z O N T A L MODE s w i t c h e s , refer
to section 0 0 . ) LEDs in the A and X - Y switches light up.
If this condition is left without executing any of opera-
tions ( 2 ) , ( 3 ) , and (5) below, the previous state is re-
stored after approx. 5 seconds automatically.

(2) T o turn off the calendar and clock display, press B of
the H O R I Z O N T A L MODE s w i t c h e s (shaded s w i t c h in
the figure) after operation ( 1 ) .

(3) T o turn on the calendar and clock display again, press
B of the H O R I Z O N T A L MODE s w i t c h e s (shaded switch
in the figure) after operation ( 1 ) .
(4) To correct the calendar and clock setting, follow the
steps below. T h e calendar and clock display must be
turned on for this correction.

" M o n t h " of the calendar and clock display flashes.
C o r r e c t i o n of C a l e n d a r a n d C l o c k D i s p l a y
© Rotate the S W E E P T I M E / D I V control to set a proper
month.
© Pressing the X - Y s w i t c h shifts the flashing position
to the right. T h e second digit of the " D a y " of the
display n o w flashes.
© S e t the s e c o n d digit of the " D a y " by rotating the
S W E E P T I M E / D I V control.
© Repeat operations © and © to set proper values to
the first digit of the " M i n u t e " .
© On completion of setting up to the first digit of the
" M i n u t e " , press the X - Y s w i t c h again. Correction
of the calendar and clock display is completed, and
the previous state is restored. " M i n u t e " is counted
from 0 second at this time.
