[EXAMPLE]
In the example s h o w n in Fig. 6 0 , if the measurement
of the reference signal is 3 . 0 0 0 lis and the measure-
ment of the comparison signal is 1 1 . 0 7 6 its.
Time difference = 1 1 . 0 7 6 - 3 . 0 0 0 = 8 . 0 7 6 its
22. APPLICATION OF MULTI-TRACE OPERATION
The C S - 6 0 2 0 provides calibrated sensitivity and wide fre-
quency bandwidth up to 1 5 0 MHz for CH1 to C H 4 . The C H 3
and C H 4 trigger signals are output from the preamplifier,
and can be used as the external trigger signals for C H 1 and
C H 2 . in addition, the C S - 6 0 2 0 can be used as an quadri-
trace oscilloscope.
It features the following applications:
1 Checking timing of logic signals
2 Monitoring video signals
3 Measurement of gain and phase characteristics of audio
signals
The following describes, among others, how to check tim-
ing of logic signals:

* In this c a s e , the signal is triggered by channel-3 signal
with the longest period for stable synchronization.

If A L T of the H O R I Z O N T A L M O D E s w i t c h e s is selected in
the above example, t r a c e s of the main s w e e p and delayed
sweep are displayed on the C R T simultaneously. T h e
intensity-modulated part of the main s w e e p is magnified,
enabling details to be observed.

2 3 . TRIGGER COUNTER APPLICATIONS
(CS-6020 only)
(1) Observation of T V Signals
1)
Apply the signal to the input connector. Select the chan-
nel to be used with the V E R T I C A L MODE s w i t c h . A d -
just each control for normal sweep display. T h e n , adjust
the V O L T S / D I V control to obtain proper
display.
Set the A V A R I A B L E to C A L .

2)
Select A INT B of the H O R I Z O N T A L M O D E s w i t c h e s .
Set the B S O U R C E s w i t c h to the same channel a s the
A S O U R C E . (In the above example, the B S O U R C E shall
be set to C H 1 . )
The B C O U P L I N G is automatically set to T V LINE.
3)
Press the T R I G C O U N T s w i t c h , and set a desired count
value with the AREF or D E L A Y P O S I T I O N .
NOTE: T h e trigger counter counts all of the equalizing
pulses, vertical
horizontal synchronizing pulses of the T V sig-
nals. T h u s , the actual line No. is different from
the reading of the trigger counter.
