voltage difference and voltage ratio meas-
urement of the X - a x i s . T h u s , vertical cur-
sors are displayed.
AT:
T h i s s w i t c h functions w h e n A and B of the
H O R I Z O N T A L MODE s w i t c h e s ® are selected.
T w o vertical cursors are displayed on the C R T .
Time difference and time ratio of these cursors
are displayed posterior to the cursor measurement
mode in the upper right of the C R T .
Time difference is measured, if the S W E E P V A R I -
A B L E control (32) is set to the C A L position. A value
calculated according to setting of the S W E E P
T I M E / D I V control ® is displayed posterior to the
AT. Time ratio is measured if the S W E E P V A R I A -
B L E control (32) is not set to the C A L position; a
value calculated supposing 5 div. as 1 0 0 % is dis-
played posterior to the R A T I O .
If the zicursor is on the left of the AREF cursor,
a negative ( - ) value is displayed.
1 M T : T h i s s w i t c h functions w h e n A and B of the
H O R I Z O N T A L M O D E s w i t c h e s (§) are selected.
T w o vertical cursors are displayed on the C R T .
Frequency between these t w o cursors and their
phase difference are displayed posterior to the
cursor measurement mode in the upper right of
the C R T .
Frequency is measured, if the S W E E P V A R I A B L E
control (32) is set to the C A L position. A value cal-
culated according to setting of the
T I M E / D I V control @ is displayed posterior to the
1 /AT. Phase difference is measured if the S W E E P
V A R I A B L E control is not set to the C A L position;
a value calculated supposing 5 div. as 3 6 0 ° is dis-
played posterior to the P H A S E .

If the zlcursor is on the left of the ZlREF cursor,
a negative ( - ) value is displayed. Frequency,
however, is displayed in the absolute value.

^ R E F / D E L A Y POSITION Control
Shifts the reference cursor (fine broken line) of the t w o
cursors displayed on the C R T in the cursor measure-
ment. C l o c k w i s e rotation shifts the cursor up or to the
right. Counterclockwise rotation shifts it down or to the
left. In the delayed s w e e p mode, this control is used
for moving the delay position as well as counting with
the T R I G C O U N T .
N O T E : T o display the delay time and delay count value
in the delayed s w e e p mode, deactivate the cur-
sor measurement mode selector s w i t c h e s .
Rapid rotation of this control knob may cause
improper operation. T h u s , rotate it slowly.
(§)
A Control
Shifts the measurement cursor (rough broken line) of
the t w o cursors displayed on the C R T in the cursor
measurement. C l o c k w i s e rotation shifts the cursor up
or to the right. Counterclockwise rotation shifts it down
or to the left.
N O T E : Rapid rotation of this control knob may cause
improper operation. T h u s , rotate it slowly.
(§)
HORIZONTAL MODE Switches
Selects operation modes of the horizontal a x i s . Press-
ing a s w i t c h turns on its L E D , w h i c h indicates that the
s w i t c h is selected.
A :
. A c t i v a t e s the A s w e e p only.
A INT B: Increases intensity of a B s w e e p portion on
A sweep waveform. Intensity of the A sweep
and B s w e e p is controlled w i t h the A INTEN/
P U L L B INTEN © .
