CAUSE
- A�r �n the system
- The flow rate at the pump �s too
h�gh.
-The pump del�very head �s too h�gh
Cav�tat�on due to �nsuff�c�ent supply
pressure.
- Cav�tat�on due to �nsuff�c�ent supply
pressure.
- Fore�gn bod�es �n the pump hous�ng
or �mpeller
- A�r w�th�n the pump.
- The check valves �n the system are
not fully open
- Fore�gn bod�es �n the pump hous�ng
or �mpeller
- Incorrect flow d�rect�on
- The check valves �n the system are
not fully open
- Incorrect d�rect�on of rotat�on.
- Fuse defect�ve/tr�pped.
- Res�dual-current-operated
protect�on sw�tch has tr�pped.
INTERVENTION
- Vent the system
- Reduce the pump power by sw�tch�ng to a lower speed.
- Reduce the pump power by sw�tch�ng to a lower speed.
- Check pressure stab�l�ty / supply pressure and �f
necessary �ncrease them w�th�n the perm�ss�ble range.
- After d�smantl�ng the motor �mpeller un�t, remove the
fore�gn body.
- Vent the pump/system.
- Fully open the check valves.
- After d�smantl�ng the motor �mpeller un�t, remove the
fore�gn body.
- Interchange the pressure s�de and suct�on s�de of the
pump. Refer to the d�rect�on of flow symbol on the
pump hous�ng or pump flange.
- Fully open the check valves.
-Correct the electr�cal connect�ons �n the term�nal box:
Refer to the d�rect�on of rotat�on arrow on the rat�ng plate
- Replace/sw�tch on the fuse. If the fuse tr�ps aga�n:
• Check the pump for electr�cal defects. ;
• Check the ma�ns cable to the pump and check the
electr�cal connect�ons
- Sw�tch on the res�dual-current- operated protect�on
sw�tch. If the res�dual-current-operated protect�on
sw�tch tr�ps aga�n:
• Check the pump for electr�cal defects.
• Check the ma�ns cable to the pump and check the
electr�cal connect�ons.
