5) SERIAL PORT TEST (SOME OF SHARP I/O PORTS (16PIN CONNECTORS))
1. Control line test
Test by Diag
Test jig: Use the following circuit. (Prepare it on each service spot.)
1 Open "DIAG MENU (2/3) ".
2 Connect the following test circuit.
3 Tap "No1 16pin."

3 Push and hold "R" and "D", and push Full Reset at the same
time.

5 SL5500 displays as follows:

7 Execute Full Reset.
Remove the CE170TS.
Note: When "R" + "D" keys and Full Reset are pushed at the same time, the machine enters the test mode.
Be careful no to touch the keys of PC at that time.
1 Check that "OK" is indicated.

Connect the CE-170TS, and boot the terminal adapter.

Enter "RA" in caps.
