1. Back Up Battery soldering
(1) Solder the two terminals of the Back Up Battery firmly with the
PWB. (Be careful of the polarity.)
Soldering conditions: 250°C ~ 300°C, within 5 sec
If the battery is once soldered improperly, it cannot be used for
ever. (Never use it.)
The solder tip or melted solder must be kept away from the external
tube (blue) of the battery. If they are brought into contact,
the battery will be shorted. Especially if the tube under the negative
(–) terminal is melted, the positive (+) terminal and the negative (–)
terminal will be shorted.
External tube (blue) * Keep this section away from the
solder tip or melted solder.
Solder
Never put a circuit board on another or never put it on a metal surface.

2. Back Up Battery Insulation Sheet attachment
(1) Remove the separation sheet from the back of the Back Up Bat-
tery Insulation Sheet. (Partial paste)
(2) Attach the Back Up Battery Insulation Sheet to the SD card so
that it fits with the external shape of the sub PWB.
• If the Back Up Battery Insulation Sheet is broken or if it is not
attached, the battery will be heated to smoke. Use great care
to avoid it.
• The Back Up Battery Insulation Sheet must not extend out of
the external shape of the sub PWB.

3. Back Up Battery Cushion attachment
Attach the Back Up Battery Cushion according to the attachment
reference shown below.
• The Back Up Battery Insulation Sheet must not extend out of the
external shape of the sub PWB.
