No Operating procedure
1 In DIAG MENU (1/3), touch "Version" at the right
lower section of the display.
2 Press the center key of the cursor to return to
the menu.
3 Press [on/off] key to turn off the power.
After the display is turned off completely, remove the Main battery.
CONFIRMATION PROCEDURES OF CF CARD / SD CARD / STEREO HEADPHONE JACK
1. Prepare a CF card (or SD card) and MP3 music data.
2. Reproduce the music data with an application (Media Player) and
check it with the stereo headphone.
* To check the CF card or SD card in the diag mode, a special tool is
required. Therefore this confirmation is made on the OS and an
application.
2. TEST PROCEDURES OF SL5000 / SL5500 I/O PORTS
1) IRDA PORT TEST
Test by Diag/Target SL5500 or SL5000
Test target SL5500

4 Open "DIAG MENU (1/3)" .
5 Face the IrDA port of the target SL-5500 toward that of the checker
SL-5500.
6 Tap "No.6 IrDA."

Push [On] button to menu
1 checking ... OK
This figure will count up if the operation is performed normally.

Reset at the same time.)
Use the cursor key to open "DIAG MENU (3/3)" .
Tap "No.1 IrDA Checker."
