3. Note for assembly of Key Rubber A
(1) Insert the positioning ribs (x 6) of the Upper Cabinet Unit 1 into
the positioning holes of the Key Rubber 2.
(2) Attach so that the rubber does not cover the cabinet holes.
4. Note for assembly of the LCD + PWB Unit to the Upper Cabinet Unit
(1) Attach the LCD + PWB Unit 2 to the Upper Cabinet Unit 1
from the Stylus Holder side.
(2) Be careful not to pinch the lead wire (white) of the Cool CRT.
If it should be pinched, check that the coating of the lead wire is
not damaged. (Never use a lead wire with breakage or dam-
age.)
The Cool CRT lead wire must
not extend from the Stylus
Holder.

5. Note for assembly of the Lower Cabinet Unit
(1) Check that the following parts are attached to the Lower Cabi-
net Unit A.
IR Filter, Battery Replacement Switch, I/O Cover, I/O Holder,
Battery Take-Out Ribbon, Nut Cushion
(2) First, insert the Stereo Headphone Jack of the Lower Cabinet
Unit A, then engage the Pawls.
(3) Be careful not to pinch the lead wire (white) of the Cool CRT.
If it should be pinched, check that the coating of the lead wire is
not damaged. (Never use a lead wire with breakage or dam-
age.)
(4) If the parts are engaged forcibly, they may be broken.
(5) Check that there is no bending when engaging.
A
Check that the PWB is not on the LCD holder rib B when
assembling the lower cabinet.
(If it is on, an assembly error will occur.)
