- Page 2 Installation 1. Remove the factory instrument cluster by disengaging the four spring clips securing the instrument cluster to the dash. No components from the original cluster will be reused, and it may be set aside. 2. Carefully insert the new VHX system into the front of the dash. From the back side, place the two provided Short Brackets on the top studs, and the two Long Brackets on the bottom studs.
