Warning instructions: Never immerse the ophthalmoscope in any liquid and prevent any liquid from penetrating into the hou-
sing! The ophthalmoscope is not intended for use during operations and therefore simple cleaning and/or disinfection with an alcohol-
base surface disinfecting agent is sufficient. Do not use abrasive cleaning agents! The ophthalmoscope cannot be sterilized.
Limitation of reuse preparation: No special requirements. We suggest that the instrument be re-prepared for use as soon as possible
after it has been used.
Instructions:
Workstation: Remove surface impurities with a paper towel or throw-away cloth.
Storage and transport: No special requirements.
Cleaning preparation: No special requirements. Must not be disassembled.
Manual cleaning: In order to avoid contact with dirt and dust, always store the ophthalmoscope in its packaging. A damp, soft and
lint-free cloth can be used to clean the instrument. To disinfect the instrument, a cloth dampened in alcohol can be used.
Automatic cleaning: Automated cleaning is not possible.
Disinfection: Not required
Maintenance: Remove and replace damaged parts.
Check and performance test: Check all movable parts such as shutter and lens correction wheels as well as plug-in connections for
smooth operation. Turn on the instrument.
Packaging: Singly in bag or carton
Sterilization: Not a chirurgic instrument, sterilisation neither necessary nor possible
Storage: No special requirements.
