Agency and California Air Resources Board. All components replaced under this war-
ranty will become the property of Piaggio Group Americas, Inc.
Only in the State of California, emission-related warranty parts are specifically defined
by the state's Emission Warranty Parts List. The components under warranty are as
follows: carburettor and internal components; intake bellow; fuel tank; fuel injection
system; ignition advance mechanism; crankcase breather; air shut-off valves; fuel cap
for vehicles with evaporative emissions control; oil filler cap; pressure control valve;
vapour/fuel separator; canister; igniter; switch regulators; ignition coils; ignition cables;
ignition points; capacitors and spark plugs that are defective before the first scheduled
replacement; and pipes, clamps, fittings and tubing used directly on these compo-
nents. Since emission related components vary from model to model, some models
may not have all of these components and other models may have components with
equivalent operation.
Only in the State of California, emergency repairs of the emission control system, as
required by the California Administrative Code, may be carried out by third parties
other than an Official Moto Guzzi Dealer. An emergency situation is considered a
situation in which a Moto Guzzi Official Dealer is not available, a component is not
available or cannot be found within 30 days, or the repair is not completed within 30
days. In case of emergency repairs, any spare part can be used. Piaggio Group
Americas, Inc. will reimburse the owner's expenses, including the diagnosis, without
exceeding the Moto Guzzi suggested retail price for all parts under warranty replaced
and for labour costs, based on the times recommended by Moto Guzzi for repairs
under warranty and at the hourly rate specified for the geographical area. The owner
may be required to keep receipts and defective parts for reimbursement.
II - Limitations
The Emission Control System Warranty does not cover the following:
a) Repairs or replacements necessary as a result of:
(1) accidents,
(2) improper use,
(3) improperly performed repairs or replacements with incorrect installation,
