• Some keyset models have red/green lamps in the feature keys. If you have one of
these keysets, and your telephone system is programmed to use them, the lamps
will be green if the associated call is ringing, holding, or active on your phone
and will be red if the call is on another station. (An exception to this would be if
the programmer has determined that calls that ring in directly to your phone will
always have red lamps.) Your customer service representative, trainer, or system
administrator can tell you how your specific keyset is programmed.

Standard And Alternate Keymaps

Each keyset is programmed with a standard keymap that determines where each fea-
ture key appears on the keyset. Each keyset can also have an alternate keymap. If you
have an alternate keymap, you can switch between the keymaps by dialing this fea-
ture code.
To switch between keymaps when your keyset is idle:
