Removing the Grass Bag

1. To remove the bag, reverse the steps in Installing
the Grass Bag.

Rear-Discharging the Grass Clippings

1. If the grass bag is on the machine, remove it
before rear-discharging the clippings; refer to
Removing the Grass Bag.

Rear Deflector

The mower must be used with the grass bag
attached or the rear deflector in the closed position.

Shutting off the Machine

1. Release the blade-control bar (1). Figure 16.
2. Remove the electric-start button (2) from the
electric starter. Figure 17.
3. Remove the battery pack; refer to Removing the
Battery Pack from the Machine.

Removing the Battery Pack

Note: Remove the battery pack when your are not
using the machine. The battery must be removed
from the mower before the machine is scrapped.
1. Lift up the battery compartment lid.
2. Press the battery-pack latch to release the
battery pack and remove the battery pack.
3. Close the battery compartment lid.
Power-Boost / Boost-Max Modes
Note: The motor has 2 speed settings, 'AUTO' and
'MAX'.
The Power-Boost / Boost Max feature automatically
adjusts power to suit mowing conditions, increasing
and decreasing blade speed when necessary.
Set the control switch to the 'AUTO' position to
benefit from the most efficient use of battery power.
Refer to Figure 18.
Switch to 'MAX' mode to engage Boost-Max. This
mode sets the blade to a constant maximum speed,
ideal for tougher conditions. Figure 18.
Note: Running the machine permanently in 'MAX'
mode will reduce the expected battery run time.
