    Installing a CD-ROM, Tape or Zip Drive in a Front Shelf Desktop Model WARNING To avoid electric shock and harm to your eyes by laser light, do not open the laser module. The laser module should be serviced by service personnel only.
  • Page 16 7 If the new drive has a tray, attach the drive to the tray. Many devices, such as the HP Zip drive, require an HP-supplied tray before they can be installed. CD-ROM drives do not require a tray.
