A common-negative controller for a common-negative system, such
as the RV system, is recommended. The controller may be
damaged if a common-positive controller is used and the positive

electrode is grounded in the common-negative system.
Step 4:Connect the remote temperature sensor
Connect the remote temperature sensor to interface ⑪ and place the other end
close to the battery.

External temperature

Suppose the remote temperature sensor is not connected to the
controller or is damaged. In that case, the controller will charge or
discharge the battery at the default temperature of 25℃ (no

temperature compensation).
Step 5:Power on the controller
Connect the battery fuse to power the controller. Check the status of the battery
indicator (green ON solid of the indicator states controller is operating normally).
Connect the fuse and circuit breaker of the load and PV array; the system will work in
preprogrammed mode.
If the controller cannot work properly or the battery indicator shows
an abnormality, please refer to 4.2 "Troubleshooting."
