2-4-2. Pedestal Level Adjustment

. Perform "2-4-1. Analog Video Level Adjustment" before
performing this adjustment.
. The SDI waveform monitor is required for the pedestal
level adjustment.
When performing the adjustment using the other wave-
form monitors, change the test point to the VIDEO-1
OUTPUT connector of the WLL-RX55, and set the
Video in Setup menu of the WLL-RX55 to NTSC-J,
NTSC-UC or PAL according to the destination of the
unit.
(Refer to the Operation manual of the WLL-RX55.)

Preparations
1. Set the DC LINE switch of the unit, power of the
camera and the WLL-RX55 to ON, and warm up these
units for about ten minutes.

If the EL display is unlit, press the DISPLAY button to
light the display.
2. Press the TX ON/CALL button of the WLL-CA55 to
turn the unit into the transmitting mode.
3. Perform the following steps to display the Factory1
menu.
(1) Press the MENU dial to display the main menu.
(2) Set the cursor to "Factory1" by turning the MENU
dial, and press the MENU dial.

Adjustment Procedure
Change the "5 B PED", "7 G PED" and "9 R PED" of
Factory menu little by little in order to adjust the pedestal
Level.

Settings after Adjustment
. Set the S201-4 on the IF-936 board to OFF.
. When adjusting the unit using the BVP-950, reset the
switch S600-8 on the VPR-84 board to OFF referring to
Section 1-6.
