The alignment can be performed without a camcorder.
2-1-2. Notes on Adjustments
. All measuring equipment shall be calibrated.
. To perform adjustment the DPR-231 board, extend using
the extension board.
Be sure to set the DC LINE switch to OFF before
disconnecting the board.

2-2. Free-run Adjustment
Preparations
1. Set the DC LINE switch of the unit to OFF, and extend
the DPR-231 board using the EX-819 board. (Refer to
the steps 1 to 3 of Section 1-13.)

If the comcorder is connected to the unit, set the power
switch of the comcorder to OFF, too.
2. Only set the DC LINE switch of the unit to ON, and
warm up the unit for about ten minutes.
3. Connect the TP101 on the DPR-231 board to the GND
E1 on the EX-819 board.
4. Connect each equipment as shown in the figure.
