BIOS Recovery
Close pins 2-3 of jumper JBR1 for BIOS recovery. The default setting is on pins 1 and 2 for
normal operation. The default setting is Normal.
VGA Enable/Disable
Use jumper JPG1 to enable or disable the VGA port using the onboard graphics controller.
The default setting is Enabled.
ME Recovery
JPME1 is used for ME Firmware Recovery mode, which will limit system resource for essential
function use only without putting restrictions on power use. In the single operation mode,
online upgrade will be available in Recovery mode.
Watchdog
JWD1 controls the Watchdog function. Watchdog is a monitor that can reboot the system when
a software application hangs. Jumping pins 1-2 will cause Watch Dog to reset the system if
an application hangs. Jumping pins 2-3 will generate a non-maskable interrupt signal for the
application that hangs. Watchdog must also be enabled in BIOS. The default setting is Reset.
Note: When Watchdog is enabled, the user must write their own application software to
disable it.
