4.4 Security

Use this menu to configure Security settings.
Administrator Password
Use this feature to set the administrator password which is required to enter the BIOS setup
utility. The length of the password should be from 3 to 20 characters long.
User Password
Use this feature to set a user password which is required to log into the system and to enter
the BIOS setup utility. The length of the password should be from three to 20 characters long.
Password Check
Use this feature to determine when a password entry is required. Select Setup to require the
password only when entering setup. Select Always to require the password when entering
setup and at each bootup. The options are Setup and Always.
CSM Support
Select Enabled to support the EFI Compatibility Support Module (CSM), which provides
compatibility support for traditional legacy BIOS for system boot. The options are Enabled
and Disabled.
