SATA Configuration
SATA Controller(s)
Use this feature to enable or disable the onboard SATA controller supported by the SoC. The
options are Enabled and Disabled.
*If the feature above is enabled, the following features are available for configuration:
SATA Mode Selection
Use this feature to select the mode for the installed SATA drives. The options are AHCI and
RAID.
Storage Option ROM/UEFI Driver
Select UEFI to load the EFI driver for system boot. Select Legacy to load a legacy driver for
system boot. The options are Do Not Launch, UEFI, and Legacy.
SATA Port 0/2
This feature displays the information detected on the installed SATA drive on the particular
SATA port.
Model number of drive and capacity
Software Preserve Support
Port 0/2
Use this feature to enable or disable the specified SATA port. The options are Disabled and
Enabled.
Hot Plug
Set this feature to Enabled for hot plug support, which will allow you to replace a SATA drive
without shutting down the system The options are Disabled and Enabled.
Spin Up Device
When the value of an edge detect or the value of an image binary (pixel) of a device is from
0 to 1, select Enabled to allow the PCH to start a COMRESET initialization sequence on this
device. The options are Disabled and Enabled.
SATA Device Type
Use this item to specify if the SATA port should be connected to a Solid State drive or a Hard
Disk Drive. The options are Hard Disk Drive and Solid State Drive.
