* When there is any shadow.
* When the trees or leaves are stirred by the wind. In this case please set the moving
objects as Exclusive Area not to be detected.
* Fountains
* Reflection to the river, lake, window, or mirror due to strong light. Inevitable cases, please
set the reflected area as Exclusive Area.
* If the portion of the object size on the screen is less than 5% or over 40%.
* Rapid brightness change of the camera from AGC or IRIS operation
* The object color or brightness is similar to the background.
* In severe weather such as snow, rain, wind or in dawn
* Motions of less position changing such as approaching to the camera or fading away from
the camera
* When an object moves too fast or too slow.
* When multiple moving objects exist in the shot area
* When video shakes due to camera shaking
* When there is light flash toward camera or shot area.
* If the lens is scratched, stained or out of focus.
– Detection Rule: User can setup the VA Event configuration.
Select the Event type you want to setup. Placing the toggle switch to ON will enable you to
configure the event in the Video Preview window.
How to setup each VA:
* Line Detector:
1. Select Line Detector.
2. Type the Rule Name, and select the Line Event type in the Counter menu. When
Detector is selected, any object passing by the Line will trigger the event. When
Counter is configured with direction, object passing by configured direction will trigger
the alarm and the number of count will be increased. Clicking Reset button will reset
the number of count.
3. Set the direction you want to detect the Line event.
4. Place the on/off toggle switch on ON, and set the preferred starting and ending point of
the line in the Video Preview window.
* Tampering:
1. Select the Tampering to set the camera to detect tampering attempts and trigger
events.
2. Type the Rule Name, and set the preferred Dwell time and Sensitivity. The higher the
sensitivity detects the minutest tampering attempts.
3. Light Change menu allows you to decide if the light ON/OFF will also trigger the
Tampering event, and also the Light Sensitivity to be detected.
* Intelligent Motion:
1. Select Intelligent Motion to trigger motion event when any motion is detected on
configured area.
2. Type the Rule Name, and set the preferred Dwell time and Sensitivity.
3. Place the on/off toggle switch on ON, and set the preferred area to detect motion in the
