Setting [PASSWORD]
It is possible to ask the input of password against the device when trying to connect to the projector using the
Panasonic image transfer application software. By requiring the input of password, it is possible to prevent image
cut-in caused by erroneous external connection.
1)
Press as to select [Panasonic APPLICATION].
2)
Press the <ENTER> button.
f The [Panasonic APPLICATION] screen is displayed.
3)
Press as to select [PASSWORD].
4)
Press qw to select an item.
f The items will switch each time you press the button.
[OFF]
[ON]
Note
f This function is set to [OFF] as the factory default setting or after the [NETWORK/USB] menu → [INITIALIZE] is executed. When connecting
to the projector using the image transfer application software, it is recommended to register a password in the [NETWORK/USB] menu →
[Panasonic APPLICATION] → [PASSWORD CHANGE], and set [PASSWORD] to [ON].
f When [ON] is set, receiving of distributed image by the simultaneous image distribution function or erasing of image by the distributed image
erasing function of the "Multi Monitoring & Control Software" is not possible. To use these functions, set [OFF].
Setting [PASSWORD CHANGE]
Register or change the password to enter when connecting to the projector using the Panasonic image transfer
application software.
1)
Press as to select [Panasonic APPLICATION].
2)
Press the <ENTER> button.
f The [Panasonic APPLICATION] screen is displayed.
3)
Press as to select [PASSWORD CHANGE].
4)
Press the <ENTER> button.
f The [PASSWORD CHANGE] screen is displayed.
5)
Press asqw to select the character, and press the <ENTER> button to enter the character.
f Maximum of 8 ASCII characters can be entered.
6)
Press asqw to select [OK], and press the <ENTER> button.
f Entered password is registered.
f To cancel, select [CANCEL].
Note
f As the factory default or after the [NETWORK/USB] menu → [INITIALIZE] is executed, the password is blank. Even if [PASSWORD] is set
to [ON], it will be possible to connect without entering the character if the password is not registered. Make sure to register a password when
setting [PASSWORD] to [ON].
f Change the password periodically and make it hard to guess.
Setting [PAIRING GUIDE]
Set if the pairing function to display the guide for writing the pairing data on the standby screen when USB
memory is connected to the <VIEWER/PAIRING> terminal while the Panasonic APPLICATION input is selected is
enabled or not. The pairing data is a connection information between the image transfer application software "Plug
and Share", and the projector and the USB memory.

Press as to select [Panasonic APPLICATION].

Press the <ENTER> button.
f The [Panasonic APPLICATION] screen is displayed.
3)
Press as to select [PAIRING GUIDE].
