f For setting content of each item, consult the network administrator.
f When using EAP, the projector is required to be set according to the RADIUS server setting. For setting the server, consult the network
administrator.
f When using the EAP combined with an access point with the SSID broadcast disabled, select [WPA-EAP] or [WPA2-EAP] as the
authentication method even if the authentication of the access point is WPA-EAP/WPA2-EAP.
f Wired LAN and wireless LAN cannot be used in the same segment.
f When using the projector by setting [DHCP] to [ON], confirm that the DHCP server is operating.
f If the LAN connection is not established via access point even when "Setting of the projector" (x page 157) is executed, consult the
manufacturer of the used access point (radio wave repeater).

Chapter 4 Settings — [NETWORK/USB] menu
Set WEP key to the key number selected in [DEFAULT KEY].
This item can be selected only when [AUTHENTICATION] is set to [OPEN] or [SHARED], and the
encryption method is [WEP].
Only the 64 bits or 128 bits WEP key can be set. For 64 bits, enter five characters in alphanumeric
(10 digits in case of hexadecimal), and for 128 bits, enter 13 characters in alphanumeric (26 digits in
case of hexadecimal).
Set the key.
This item can be set when [AUTHENTICATION] is set to [WPA-PSK] or [WPA2-PSK].
Enter 8 to 63 characters of ASCII character, or 64-digit hexadecimal number.
Select the EAP set for the RADIUS server.
This item can be set when [AUTHENTICATION] is set to [WPA-EAP/WPA2-EAP], [WPA-EAP], or
[WPA2-EAP].
The types of EAP that can be selected are as follows.
[PEAP(MS-CHAPv2)], [PEAP(GTC)], [EAP-TTLS(MD5)], [EAP-TTLS(MS-CHAPv2)], [EAP-FAST(MS-
CHAPv2)], [EAP-FAST(GTC)], [EAP-TLS]
Enter the user name to be used for authentication in single-byte alphanumeric characters (excluding
the space). (Maximum of 64 characters)
This item can be set when [AUTHENTICATION] is set to [WPA-EAP/WPA2-EAP], [WPA-EAP], or
[WPA2-EAP].
Enter the password to be used for authentication in single-byte alphanumeric characters. (Maximum
of 64 characters)
This item can be set when [AUTHENTICATION] is set to [WPA-EAP/WPA2-EAP], [WPA-EAP], or
[WPA2-EAP].
