Printing
Authenticating Users in the Printer Driver when User Feature
Restriction Is Enabled (for Windows Only)
When the user feature restriction is enabled, a user ID and password are required to print. Register the user ID and
password in the printer driver. If you do not know the password, contact your printer administrator.
1. Access the printer driver window.
2. Click Printer and Option Information on the Maintenance tab.
3. Select Save Access Control settings, click Settings, and then enter the user name and the password.

1. Load paper in the printer.
2. Open the file you want to print.
3. Select Print or Print Setup from the File menu.
4. Select your printer.
