❏ Do not remove the film on the top of the maintenance box.
❏ Do not tilt the used maintenance box until after it is sealed in the plastic bag; otherwise ink may leak.
5. Insert the new maintenance box all the way into the printer.
6. Close rear cover 1.

Maintenance Rollers Codes
Epson recommends the use of genuine Epson maintenance rollers.
The following are the codes.
Maintenance rollers of paper cassette 1: S210046
Maintenance rollers of paper cassette 2 to 3: S210047
Replacing Maintenance Rollers in Paper Cassette 1
There are two places for replacing the maintenance rollers: on the back of the printer (two rollers) and on the paper
cassette (one roller).
1. Remove the new maintenance rollers from their package.

❏ The maintenance rollers for the paper cassette 1 and paper cassette 2 to 3 are different. Check the direction
of the arrow at the center of the maintenance rollers, and make sure the maintenance rollers are the ones for
paper cassette 1. If you attach the wrong rollers, the printer may not feed the paper.
❏ Be careful not to stain the surface of the maintenance rollers. If dust collects on the surface of the
maintenance rollers, clean the rollers by using a soft and dry cloth.
2. Turn off the printer by pressing the

button, and then unplug the power cord.
