Serial Console Features

The Serial Console Features submenu allows you to configure serial port settings.

Description
If enabled, BIOS uses the specified serial
port to redirect the console to a remote termi-
nal.
Sets the transfer speed for console redirec-
tion.
If enabled, the system uses the flow control
selected.
VT 100+ selection only words for English as
the selected language. VT-UTF8 uses
Unicode. PC-ANSI is the standard PC-type
terminal.
Enable or disable ACPI OS Headless Con-
sole Redirection.
