4-2-1. When you want to change the stroke of the
thread take-up spring
Loosen screw ❷ . Adjust thread take-up spring ❶ by
moving it in the slot.
4-2-2. When you want to change the tension of
the thread take-up spring
To adjust the tension of thread take-up spring ❶ ,
loosen nut ❸ first. Turn spring shaft ❹ counter-
clockwise to increase the tension or clockwise to
decrease it.
After the adjustment, fix the stud by tightening nut ❸ .
