This transceiver is equipped with the E2O (Easy-To-Operate) system. Basic
operation may be accomplished by following the procedure below:
Press and hold the PWR /VOL knob to turn on or off the radio.
Rotate the PWR /VOL knob to adjust the speaker audio volume.
Rotate the CHANNEL knob (or press the microphones
select the operating channel.
Move the SQL knob clockwise to squelch or counter clockwise un-squelch
the radio.
Press the

To transmit: place your mouth about 1/2 inch away from Mic hole and speak
in a normal voice level while pressing the PTT switch.
