Bluetooth

Headset Profile provides support for Bluetooth
headsets to be used with this transceiver for making
voice calls.
Serial Port Profile allows this transceiver to connect to
a Bluetooth-enabled PC without using a programming
cable to communicate with the Field Programming Unit
(FPU) or to use the PC Interface Protocol. For details
on the Field Programming Unit (FPU) or PC Interface
Protocol, consult your dealer.
Heart Rate Service is a function that sends the heart
rate [bpm] to the transceiver from a Bluetooth-enabled
device (such as heart rate monitor) that supports Heart
Rate Service. The transceiver can send the heart rate
via Status or activate the Emergency operation. When
a Status request message is received from the Base
Station, the transceiver can respond with the heart rate
via Status or send the heart rate together with the GPS
data via Status.
