SYMPTOM
Hard to drive the snow
blower in forward direction.
Snow blower does not run.
Snow blower runs slowly.
Hard to drive the snow
blower in reverse direction.
Snow blower does not move
when squeezing the drive
clutch lever.
Steering lever does not work
at all (or it does not work
well).
TAKING CARE OF UNEXPECTED PROBLEMS
POSSIBLE CAUSE
Auger shear bolt is broken.
Auger height is not properly
adjusted.
Snow is clogged in the snow
blowing mechanism.
Drive motor overheated by
operation under excessive load,
which armed the protection
function.
To prevent malfunction resulting
from drive motor overheating, the
drive power is reduced.
Auger height is not adjusted in the
HIGH position.
Wheel pin in the track has worked
off.
Warning indicator (orange) blinks or
comes on.
Snow blowing mechanism is
buried in deep snow.
Track does not stop or become
slower when squeezing the steering
lever.
REMEDY
Replace the auger shear bolt (see
page 91).
Auger height adjustment (see page
50).
Use the snow clearing bar to remove
the snow (see page 71).
Release the drive clutch lever, stop the
work, keep the engine switch in the ON
position and wait until the drive control
warning indicator (orange) does not
blink (see page 65).
Release the drive clutch lever, stop the
work, keep the engine switch in the ON
position and wait until the drive control
warning indicator (orange) does not
blink (see page 65).
Auger height adjustment (see page

Check the drive control warning

handle to turn in the direction you
