Assembly and electrical installation

A. Installing the housing
B. Installing the PROFIBUS
C. Connecting the DULCOnvert to the
supply voltage

Carefully close the housing otherwise the
specified IP degree of protection will not
be achieved.
Please follow this order:
A. - Install the housing
B. - Install the PROFIBUS
C. - Connect the DULCOnvert to the mains voltage
D. - Install the PROFINET
E. - Properly close the housing
1. Flap open the two flaps on the left and right of the housing cover.
2. Use appropriate screws to screw the housing to a vertical base sur‐
face close to the pump using the 4 deep drill holes. Take into
account the length of the PROFIBUS
unit.
® cable Connect the PROFIBUS
terminal of the pump. There is no need for terminal resistors.
Connect the plug-in power unit of the DULCOnvert to the supply
voltage.

1. Unscrew the housing screws and open the cover.
2. Screw the clamping screw of the large threaded connector on the
left of the housing and remove the rubber insert.
3. Correctly thread the clamping screw the right way round onto the
PROFINET

Guide the PROFINET
terminal on the converter until the cable snaps into place.
5. Place the rubber insert around the cable and press into the
threaded connector.
6. Screw the clamping screw onto the threaded connector until the
threaded connector is moisture-tight.
1. Check whether the sealing surfaces of the housing cover and the
black seal of the lower part of the housing are free of dirt.
2. Replace the housing cover onto the lower part of the housing and
fasten in place with the screws.
3. Close the two flaps on the left and right of the housing cover.
