2 Installation
Introduction
This chapter contains information on installing Caracas Desk at Hicom 100 E, Hicom
150E 2.2, Hicom 150 E OfficeCom and OfficePoint systems.

Note
V.24 line lengths (10m in each case) must be observed, see Figure 1-1.

Service Manual
Insert the polarised lithium battery in the module slot provided (housing
must be open).
Close the housing.
Attach to wall at 2 fixing points (suspend from above, screw in below).
Cabling to Hicom, printer, connection to plug-in PSU.
Perform visual inspection
Close the hinged cover.
