Problem
The front wheel does not
change direction when I
steer/ rotate the handlebar.
I can feel the pedals or cranks
of the bike moving during a
pedal stroke (I detect play).
The operating period of the
e-bike battery after charging
has significantly reduced over
time.
I see or feel a wobble in the
front or rear wheel of the bike.
The steering linkage feels
loose.
I feel excessive resistance
when steering.
After switching on the display
the text 'Service' appears on
the screen for a few seconds.

Cause
I. The steering rod or steering rod bearings are not
functioning properly.
II. The stem is loose.
I. The pedals are not connected correctly to the
cranks.
II. The bearing has been damaged.
The e-bike battery is worn out.
I. The tyre is not seated correctly on the rim.
II. The wheel is out of true.
There is play in the steering rod and/or steering rod
bearings.
The steering linkage doesn't work properly.

Solution
Stop riding immediately and contact your Urban
Arrow dealer.
Contact your Urban Arrow dealer to fix the play in the
pedals or cranks.
Contact your Urban Arrow dealer to replace the e-bike
battery by a correct new one.
Check if the tyre is seated correctly on the rim.
I. If the reflecting line on the side of the tyre does
not run parallel to the rim: the tyre is not seated
correctly on the rim. Deflate your tyre and inflate it
to the correct pressure (see paragraph 5.4).
II. Contact your Urban Arrow dealer to repair the
wheel when the wheel is out of true.
