VI.Digital control operating instructions (DSH-S04/S08)

To set the temperature:
1. Press the ON button .
2. Press the SET TEMP button once - the LED display will flash.
3. Use +/- to set the temperature .
4. Press SET TEMP button again to lock in temperature .
Note: The heating element will not turn on until the timer is set.
To set the timer:
1. Press the SET TIME button - the hour LED display will flash.
2. Use +/- to set the hours.
3. Press SET TIME button again to lock in hours. Minute LED will flash.
4. Use +/- to set minutes.
5. Press SET TIME to lock in the minutes and begin heating. The heat will turn off when the time is up.
Procedure for resetting the control panel: If an error message appears on the control panel, turn off the
smoker, unplug the unit from the power outlet, leave the unit for 15 seconds, plug the unit back into the
power outlet and turn the smoker back on. This procedure will reset the control panel.
