Changing the Time Zone

UTC is set by default. For dates to be valid, it is important that the gateway is
synchronized with the time server.

Note The time zone is saved as the date information and can be adjusted at any time.
The dates in the configuration are always displayed in the time zone of the
computer. The time zone is taken into account in the addVANTAGE PRO
visualization.

Changing the Location

The gateway is delivered with the coordinates 0.0; 0.0 by default. Enter the
location of the gateway.

Note Use a GPS app or enter the approximate coordinates and then hold down the
mouse button to move the device or the map to the desired spot. To determine
the exact location you can also zoom [CTRL + scroll].

Lock the configurator for editing.
Click on the RTUs tab on the tab bar.
Navigate in Explorer to the A850 Telemetry Gateway device.
In the data panel select the Details tab.
Time Zone
Click on and in the dropdown menu select the time zone.
Confirm with OK.
Save the configuration or cancel the action.

Click on the RTUs tab on the tab bar.
Navigate in Explorer to the A850 Telemetry Gateway device.
In the data window select the Location tab.
Enter the location of the gateway:
a. Enter the latitude, longitude and altitude
b. Select the location on the map
Save the configuration or cancel the action.
