29. SUGGESTED TENSION SETTING
Tension settings are effected by :
* Type and thickness of fabric
* Needle size
* Size, type and fibre content of thread
(1) 2-THREAD WRAPPED OVERLOCK
*
When the lower looper thread tension is too tight
or needle thread tension is too loose :
- Turn the lower looper thread tension dial (red)
toward a lower number.
- Or, turn the needle thread tension dial (yellow or
green) toward a higher number.
* When the lower looper thread tension is too loose :
- Turn the lower looper thread tension dial (red)
toward a higher number.
(2) 2-THREAD OVERLOCK

When the lower looper thread lies on the
underside of the fabric :
- Turn the lower looper thread tension dial (red)
toward a higher number.
- Or, turn the needle thread tension dial (
green) toward a lower number.

green) toward a higher number.
- Or, turn the lower looper thread tension dial (red)
toward a lower number.
