Wait-To-Start Light; Diesel Particulate Filter Light - Chevrolet Low Cab Forward 6.7L 2022 Owner's Manual

The indicator light comes on when the
overdrive off switch on the selector lever is
turned on. Overdrive will not operate even
when the automatic transmission is in the
"OD" position, unless engine speed is
excessive.

Wait-to-Start Light

This light comes on when the engine control
switch is turned to the ON position and
goes out when preheating is complete.
Under cold conditions, this indicator light
comes on when the engine control switch is
turned to the ON position, and then should
go out.

Diesel Particulate Filter Light

This light should come on briefly when the
engine control switch is turned to the ON
position, and go off when the engine has
started.
This light comes on when Diesel Particulate
Filter (DPF) regeneration is required. When
this light comes on, perform DPF
regeneration soon. When regeneration
starts, this warning light will go off and the
High Exhaust System Temperature Indicator
Light will come on.
If equipped with a power take-off (PTO),
monitor the instrument panel for
DPF-related indicators. PTO and other slow
speed applications may require more
attention.

High Exhaust System Temperature
Indicator Light
This light should come on briefly when the
engine control switch is turned to the ON
position, and go off when the engine has
started.
This indicator light comes on when Diesel
Particulate Filter (DPF) regeneration is in
progress. When the vehicle is stationary, the
exhaust sound changes as the engine speed
increases. Also, operating sounds of the
exhaust throttle may be heard. When
regeneration is completed, the light goes off
automatically.

Warning
Exhaust parts and gases become very
hot when the DPF is being
regenerated. In order to avoid being
