CAUTION
Never attempt to switch the UPS back to normal operation until you have verified that
there are no internal faults in the UPS

Switch ON the OUTPUT switch
•
Switch ON the BYPASS switch
•
Switch ON the INPUT switch;
The UPS powers from the static Bypass instead of the maintenance Bypass, the Bypass LED will light up.
•
Switch OFF the maintenance Bypass switch, then the output is supplied by the static Bypass of the UPS
•
Put on the maintenance switch cover
The rectifier will operate normally after 30 seconds. If the inverter works normally, the system will be
transferred from Bypass mode to normal mode.

Cold Start Procedure
CAUTION
Follow these procedures when the input AC utility fails, but battery is normal.
• Set the battery switch to'ON'
• Turn on the output switch
• Trigger the cold start button

When the battery is normal, the rectifier starts operating, 30 seconds later, the
inverter starts operating and the battery LED is switched on.
CAUTION
Please press the cold start button after 30 seconds till closing the battery switch.
5.2.5
Shut Down Procedure
CAUTION
This procedure should be followed to completely shut down the UPS and the load. After all power
switches, isolators and circuit breakers are opened, there will be no output.
Online mode
• Press OFF to shut down the UPS and return to Bypass mode
• Open the BATTERY breaker
• Switch OFF the input switch and bypass switch
• Open the OUTPUT switch. The UPS shuts down.
• To completely isolate the UPS from AC Mains, switch off all input switches of the utility.
• The primary input distribution panel is often located far from the UPS area. An advisory should be
posted for service personnel that the UPS circuit is under maintenance.
Battery mode
• Press OFF to shut down the UPS
• Open the BATTERY breaker
• Open the OUTPUT switch. The UPS shuts down.
WARNING
Wait for about 5 minutes for the internal DC BUS bar capacitors to be completely discharged.
